On the afternoon of June 26, 2019, WU Xinsheng, Liao Songkai and LI Wenting, research group of Futian district, visited Institute for Quantum Science and Engineering.

The meeting was held in  the conference room on the 6th floor, building 1 Innovation park. YU Dapeng who is the dean of SIQSE, and the vice dean of SIQSE: XIA Ke, CHEN,  Tingyong, secretary of the party branch of the research institute liu song, as well as directors of various centers and outstanding researchers of the  institute participated in the meeting. At the meeting, YU Dapeng first introduced the achievements of the preparation of the institute, the construction of talent team and the future development plan.


The research team acknowledged and appreciated the achievements made by the institute. They explained the present situation, key demands and difficulties of the institute in detail. YU Dapeng pointed out that the achievements and scale of the preparatory work of the institute far exceeded the expectation, and the institute is also facing some problems of sustainable development, space and funding. He hoped that the leaders of Futian district government would pay attention to and support it. Then the researchers of the institute discussed the problems and difficulties that the institute was facing. In the discussion, talents' apartments, children's schooling and tax exemption are the most concerned issues.

The research team of the white paper on science and innovation in futian district carefully listened to the opinions and Suggestions of every researcher in the research institute, and said that they would comprehensively comb through the problems and find the ways and paths to solve the problems. They hoped that both sides could strengthen communication and contact with each other to promote the development of science and technology in futian district based on the research.


At the end of the investigation, the research group visited the quantum device and chip center of SIQSE. Center director LIU Song introduced the development and achievements of quantum devices and chip center.
